Lady Elena Drynhart

Last September, I adopted this beautiful lady from and recently I rediscovered her gathering dust in my stash. This is completely unacceptable, so I'm adding her to my main roster of characters and I hope you guys will be seeing much more of her in the near future.

Bio: The offspring of the late Lord Drynhart and a shapeshifter, Elena was raised on her father's estate and trained in the ways of the nobility.  Her mother vanished shortly after her birth, leaving Drynhart and his handful of servants to raise Elena.  Having no siblings, she spent as much time as she could with her father, learning his duties and preparing to one day inherit his position.  Around the age of 6, she began to show the traits she inherited from her mother.  The poor headmistress was in for quite a shock when a tear-filled Elena came barging into her quarters sporting large brown wolf ears and a matching fluffy tail. "They won't come off," the teeny girl choked out, tugging fruitlessly at her new ears.  
    With no trace of her mother, and shapeshifters being a very secluded species, her father hired a human magician to try to help Elena learn about the gifts she'd inherited from her mother.  While able to temporarily revert to a fully human state, she learned that the new state her body defaulted to brought with it incredibly heightened senses and agility, things she lost if she repressed it.  
     From a young age, her father instilled in her a love of hunting, frequently taking her on excursions through his land to hunt birds and stags.  While able to wield a bow, quite effectively in fact, she quickly learned she enjoyed a more...direct approach. Rather than chasing her prey down on horseback with volleys of arrows, Elena's heightened agility allowed her to outpace any four-footed prey in the woods and sweep in for a quick sword strike to the vitals.  While her crude method was not exactly typical noble behavior, it brought her great pride. She'll never forget her father's shocked gaze and subsequent laugh as she dragged the first success of this method over to him, blood spattered on her beaming face.  
    As a lower ranking noble, when Drynhart passed, the transferral of his estate to his daughter was a lowkey affair.   Having lost her best friend, she soon grew bored of staying at the estate and developed a hobby the servants were intitially quite displeased with.  When a small troop of orcs invaded her estate to raid it, she pulled her father's treasured greatsword out of the mothballs, and fought them off.  Several days later, one of the servants noticed a bounty in town for a band of rogue orcs, and brought a copy home to Elena. Elena immediately ran into town to see if there were more. Right next to the bounty for the orcs was a large drawing of a monstrous looking frog with a substantial reward. Elena had found her new passion...
